Daily Creature #25

The Squimrat

Daily Creature 25

The Squimrat has the misfortune of being the only inhabitant of the Tranfuggle tree in the Wegottwon Meadow other than the flocks of Blue Wioble Birds.  The Squimrat is hairless, with the exception of the inside of it’s ears.  The ear-fur acts as nautural earmuffs, dampening most of the Wioble Birds’ songs.  Even still, what little “music” the Squimrat can hear is enough to drive it insane, it’s only a matter of time.

Enrique

Daily Creature 24

This creature insists on being called Enrique. If you think ”Enrique” is not a suitable name for an 8 foot tall beast with jagged, razor-sharp teeth, then you can take it up with him. Personally, I think it’s a fine name.

Sockivore

Daily Creature 22

Not to be confused with the Striped-Back Sock Snatcher, Sockivores consumes unmatched socks.  In ancient times, before the invention of socks, early Sockivors survived on stovepipe hats with the occasional belt on the side.  But as stovepipe hats went out of style, Sockivores moved onto to a diet of socks, although some are known to nibble on the occasional belt to this day.

Unibrobbit

Daily Creature 21

The Unibrobbit wanted nothing more than to be a professional ballet dancer. But he is horribly uncoordinated, and the horn on his forehead throws off his balance something terrible. So the Unibrobbit had to settle with becoming a millionaire stock broker and real-estate tycoon, but he’s not satisfied.

Not a Creature

Picnic Image

Here’s a break from the madness that is my daily creature drawings.

My sister is a first grade teacher, and asked me to illustrate a few stories that are a part of her curiculum.  This image is part of that project.

Fronatbularg

19.jpg

Little is known about the Fronatbularg, other than it resembles a large frog with really sharp teeth.  It is believed to be carnivourous, but no one has ever wanted to get close enough to the Fronatbularg to find out.

The Succulent Porkanster

18.jpg

Legend has it that the meat from the Succulent Porkanster tastes similar to that from the Pig, but infinately tastier.  But this is all just a legend, as the Succulent Porkanster’s large wings make it impossible to hunt down.

Daily Creature #17

The Blue Wioble Bird

Daily Creature 17

The flocks of the Blue Wioble Bird reside in the Tranfuggle tree in the Wegottwon Meadow.  Unable to fly, or even walk very far, they spend their entire lives in that one tree.  So the Blue Wioble Birds are content to sit in the Tranfuggle tree and sing loudly and terribly off key. And no two birds are ever singing the same song at the same time. All of creation rejoices that the Blue Wioble Birds are confined to one tree.
